See the seals and cormorants in the firth below and watch out for the dolphins and porpoise. This a superb area for hill walking, mountain-biking, beach-combing and forest walks. There are castles and museums, heritage centres and distilleries, sports centres and art galleries, all within on hour's drive from here. Loch Ness and Nessie are not too far away.For those interested in more sporting activities, there is skiing, curling, sea, loch and river fishing, wildfowling, stalking, cycling, yachting, wind-surfing and para-gliding are all possible in the area. We are particularly rich in golf courses, with excellent clubs at Royal Dornoch, Tain, Inverness and Nairn - all within a short drive from Tulloch.
